Venue
The EOU 2023 will be held in AF-borgen in the centre of Lund. The pre-symposia will be arranged at the Department of Biology on the Lund University north campus.
Transport
Getting from the Copenhagen Airport – the closest international airport to Lund
The closest international airport to Lund is Copenhagen Airport (also known as 'Kastrup'), in Denmark. The journey time by train from the airport to Lund is about 35 minutes. The journey takes you over the Öresund Bridge connecting Denmark to Sweden. Your final destination should be the Lund central station.
Train tickets can be purchased from the Skånetrafiken ticket machines in the arrivals hall at Copenhagen Airport, near the escalators going down to the train platform. You can pay using a debit/credit card, and if you buy a ticket to Lund, the ticket will be valid even if you need to use buses at Lund central station.
Please note that there may be passport control at the first stop (Hyllie) on the Swedish side. Make sure to always bring a valid passport or international ID card when travelling between Denmark and Sweden.
Travel locally
From Lund Central station it will only take 5–10 minutes by foot to AF-borgen. The green city buses will easily take you around the city and all bus lines depart from Botulfsplatsen. On the city buses, you can pay with mobile payment through Skånetrafiken’s app or by credit card, no cash. At Skånetrafiken’s customer service centre and in the ticket machines at Lund Central station you can purchase a pre-sale ticket which can be used at any time.

Getting from the city centre to the Department of Biology
If you travel from Lund central station (Lund C). At the north end of the train station, you will find the tramway station which stops right in front of the Department of Biology at the station LTH. If you come by taxi, please give the address Sölvegatan 35 (the Biology building) or 37 (the Ecology building).
