Book on birdwatching in southern Sweden

A perching bird. Photo.

For those who attend the EOU conference in Lund and want to combine it with some bird watching in southern Sweden.

The Ornithological Society of Scanina, the southernmost province of Sweden where Lund is located, published a few years ago a book in English “A Guide to Birdwatching in Skåne”. It describes 50 places where to watch birds with detailed descriptions, which birds you can see, and maps. It costs only 5 Euro and can be bought at the conference. If you want to have it before the conference, you can order it via email at skofmail [at] gmail [dot] com (shipping costs will be added).

A Guide to Birdwatching in Skåne. Published 2008. Format 14,5×21,5 cm. 192 pages.
